On July 3rd we celebrated Jim's baptism at church. Jim's had a relationship with Christ but had never participated in believer's baptism. In our church, we believe that believer's baptism is an outward recognition of one's belief and reliance in Christ as the one and only way to heaven. Through baptism, Jim was able to show his profession of faith but also unite as a member of our church. We had everyone in church that day and then had a big family BBQ at our house afterwards. It was a wonderful day. God is Good!
